Performance Classes
Welcome to the first Performance Classes (PCs) of the season! All PCs will be held at our home base of Schmitt Music, 7800 Harmony Drive, Bloomington, unless otherwise noted. Our Fall Festival Recitals will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at our “home base’ of Sundin Music Hall. Specific start-up times for the recitals will be announced at a later date.

Summer Gala Recitals
Our Summer Gala Recitals will be held once again at beautiful Sundin Music Hall on the campus of Hamline University on Sunday, June 14, 2026. The number of recitals and specific start up times will be announced at a later date.
End of Season Summer Break
We have had a very challenging yet ultimately satisfying year led by our sensational Andre Peck. We have also experienced a recent influx of fantastic new talent from incredible families that provides great hope for the future. Therefore, Jo Anne and I have officially declared an end to the painfully parched post- COVID period.
Mid-Summer Break - Studio is Closed
During this mid-summer break Jo Anne and I will be traveling to Madison, Wisconsin. As the First Prize Winner of the Wisconsin Young Artist Concerto Competition, Andre will perform Rachmaninov’s electric Concerto No. 1 with the WCO. Andre’s performance will take place on July 2 at the renowned “Concerts on the Square”.
The Summer Gala Recitals 2025
We are so excited about our Summer Gala Recitals 2025! Held at beautiful Sundin Music Hall at Hamline University, it will be the culminating event of the 2024-2025 season. We will have 3 recital programs: the Young Performers will go on at 12:00 noon, followed by the Young Artist Premiers in a 2 hour mega program beginning at 1:00 pm. At 4:00 pm our senior, Deling Chen, will present a graduation recital followed by a reception in the lobby.
Piano Texas
Jo Anne and I will be traveling to the Piano Texas Festival & Academy in Fort Worth. Andre has been selected for the 5th year in a row as one of 28 International pianists to participate in this world-renowned Festival & Academy. We will be there to offer support and coaching as Andre performs in prestigious halls and for famous luminaries of the piano world.
Medical Leave - No Lessons
Crocus Hill Studios will be on a brief hiatus from June 9 through June 14 due to a Medical Leave. There will be no lessons during this time.
