Ariella Kim
About the Artist
Ariella Kim is a twelve-year old pianist and violinist from Saint Paul, Minnesota. She studies piano with Dr. Jo Anne Link of Crocus Hill Studios and violin with Natsuki Kumagai, violinist with the Minnesota Orchestra.
She was the youngest finalist in the 2021 Saint Paul Piano Teachers’ Association Concerto Competition and has performed many recitals at Sundin Hall at Hamline University.
Ariella comes from a musical family and enjoys playing chamber music with her brother and parents. She attends Saint Paul Academy and Summit School. Her poem, “Halmoni”, won the 2021 Lillian Wright Award for Creative Writing, awarded by COMPAS for the best writing amongst 4th to 6th graders in the state of Minnesota.
When Ariella is not busy with school or enjoying playing the piano, Ariella is an avid reader, writer, artist and soccer player.
