Christina Waldron

About the Artist

Christina Waldron is a graduate of Trinity School at River Ridge in Eagan, Minnesota.   She is a member of the Premier Class at the nationally recognized Crocus Hill Studios in Saint Paul, Minnesota where she has studied with artist/teacher, Dr. Jo Anne Link for the past five years.  She is enrolled in the Studio’s rigorous Performance Studies for the Gifted and Talented Pre-College Student.

 

Christina is an active performer in the Twin Cities area. As winner of the 2015 Thursday Musical Young Artist Scholarship Competition she appeared as a guest artist on the Thursday Musical Morning Concert Series.  She has been a Finalist in the Schubert Club Young Artist Scholarship Competition, won second place in the Saint Paul Piano Teacher’s Concerto Competition, and received Honorable Mention in the La Crosse Rising Stars Concerto Competition, State Division of the Music Teachers National Association (Junior Level), and Minnesota Music Teachers Forum Mozart Concerto Competition.

 

Christina has performed in the master classes of Eugene Pridonoff, James Anagnoson, and Bernadene Blaha. 

 

This Fall Christiana will enter the University of Texas-Austin as a Piano Major where she will study with the renowned artist/teacher, Gregory Allen.
