Young Kate at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall

As you may remember from an earlier posting, Kate Hibbs (9-years-old) was the Winner, First Prize of the Little Mozart's Crescendo International Competition 2022 (virtual). Here she is performing in Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall in the winners' concert in May.

Following this exciting journey to the Big Apple, Kate was named a Prize Winner at the Frost Young Artist International Piano Competition (virtual), age 9 and under. Sponsored by the University of Miami's Frost School of Music, she was granted a special award, "Best Performance of a Baroque Work", which was streamed on the internet at the Winners' concert.

Way to go, Kate! Keep it up! You are at the very beginning of a long and exciting road ahead!
