Last Weekend, William (Will) Gannon (15) won 2nd Place in the 98th Annual Schubert Club Bruce P. Carlson Student Scholarship Competition, Piano II Category (Grades 10-12). He was awarded the Anna M. Last weekend, Orion Kim (15) won 2nd Place in the 64th annual Minnesota Orchestra Concerto Competition! He was awarded the Edwin Norberg Award, performing the 1st movement of Schumann’s Concerto in A minor. The competition, sponsored by the Young Peoples Symphony Concert Association (YPSCA) of the Minnesota Orchestra, is open to all instrumentalists in grades 7-12. Announced late yesterday, our beloved Gaia Daniel (10) won the Silver Award of the inaugural Canada International Youth Piano Festival in the age 8-10 category!! In the age category of 11-13, our cherished André Peck (11) received Honorable Mention with Distinction!! Both Gaia and André joined our Roster just a little over a year ago.
